Sunday 25 June, 2017: A Seminar on recycling and saving rain water was conducted on Sunday, 25 June at the Church Hall between 8:15 and 9:30 AM. Mr Charles Pious, Mr Roshan Kamath and Mr Valerian Menezes from Vamanjoor were the resource personnel. Mr Charles threw light upon the miserable state of drought in our district due the lack of measure taken to save water. He also gave insights on ways in which rain water could be used to recharge empty wells, borewells etc and also how water could be allowed to seep into the ground by building trenches and small reservoirs there by increasing the soil fertility and groundwater capacity. 

Mr Roshan and Mr Valerian shared their experiences of working on projects to save water and the benfits they have leveraged out of it.
 
The Parishniours took active part in this seminar by gathering in large numbers and by asking questions and getting their doubts cleared. They was a very positive feedback from all who gather. Many thanks to the Resource Personnel.
