The feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary celebrated at Kirem Church

The feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary was celebrated at Kirem Church with traditional solemnity. Fr. Francis Xavier Gomes was the main celebrant and preached the homily. Fr. Oswald Monteiro, Fr. Apolinaris Crasta and Fr. Gabriel Pinto was a co-celebrant.

Earlier new corns were blessed at Damaskatte Junction and people processed to the church. After the mass Payasam and Sugar cane were distributed to people.

Afternoon various games were conducted by ICYM and YCS for parishioners. They held a photo competition of decorating the family altar, dining with the family and singing a Mariam hymn in the family.
