The Annual feast of Our Lady of Remedies Kirem Paish is celebrated on the 25th of November, 2015. As a part of spiritual preparation, Eucharistic procession was held on the 22nd November. Fr. Pius D’Souza OCD, Director, Rishivana, Spirituality centre Ranipura was the main celebrant, he preached a meaningful homily on Christ king and Eucharist. A large crowd participated in the processin it was well organised and well attended. ICYM members organised Housie Housie game.

On Tuesday 24th November evening prayers ie vespers were held. At 6.15 the statue    of Our Lady of Remedies was blessed at Damaskatte followed by procession to the Church. At 6.30 evening prayers were held, psalms were sung by the choir and the people. Fr Paul Pinto former Parish Priest preached an inspiring homily on the word of God & led the Adoration. The weather was bad in the afternoon & evening. But our Lady of Remedies blessed us with good weather. It was a Miracle nearly 25 Priests from the deanary and outside attended the vespers.

Parish feast was held on the 25th Novemeber Wednesday. Bishop Aloysius Paul was the main celebrant, nearly 23 priests concelebrated in the solemn Eucharist. He preached on the ‘Theme’ Mother Mary is Our model to lead a good Christian life. After the mass parish priest Rev. Fr. Victor D’Mello thanked all the donors, volunteers, Choir members and the PPC members.

After the Eucharist the three families of “guttu” were hononred with the banana bunch to express gratitude whose ancestors had protected the church from being demolished during tippu’s time.

The Church campus was packed with people, devotees. The celebration of feast was an experience for people to be spiritually renewed. All praise and honour to God & grattitude to Our Lady of Remedies.
